The peroneal ~nerves~ include the common, superficial, and deep peroneal nerves. Originating in the |sciatic nerves|, which branch off of the |spinal cord| between the fourth lumbar and third sacral |vertebrae|, these ~nerves~ extend to the calf muscles, the skin of the top of the foot, and the toes.
